The guided tasting followed by walk-around degustation is organized by Agricultural Marketing Centre – Hungary and the Hungarian Embassy in Moscow and it takes place between 17:00-20:00 MSK. During the masterclass, the invited guests can watch and listen to a presentation by Mr. Sergey Smolin sommelier. The presentation – complete with wine tasting – describes the Hungarian wine regions, the major grape varieties and provides insight into the diverse world of Hungarian wines through an exciting, colourful selection of wines.

Mr. Sergey Smolin got a degree in International Wine Trade in France and then a WSET 3 certificate in London. He has 18 years of experience related to wine and is currently the head of the Auchan wine department in Russia. Besides that, he also teaches in sommelier schools and gives lectures on Hungarian wines, furthermore, he is also writing a book about Hungarian wine and wine regions.
