Szekszárd Kadarka, 2019

The old, autochthonous variety Kadarka was on the brink of extinction: it’s grown on barely 280 hectares in Hungary. It’s featherlight taste, spicy aromatics make it a versatile gastronomic companion. The Heimanns have planted new clonal selections of the variety. Through a precise and light-handed vinification they show Kadarka in an unadulterated, sophisticated way.
